Reenie was brought to the rescue from a country property in Melancthon.  She had 2 Bot fly larvas in her chin and it was severely swollen and infected.  She was treated and has recovered beautifully.  She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed and treated for fleas.  Adoption fee is $200.00.  Please contact 519 278 0707 for more information.

Jonah came to the Feral Cat Rescue when he was found on a front porch in Shelburne.  He was very skinny and had a bad ear infection.  The owner was never found so we neutered Jonah and had his vaccines done.  Since he was an outdoor cat we tested him for FIV and he was positive.  That means that Jonah has been in a fight with another cat that was FIV positive and the blood was exchanged from wounds.  What is means is that Jonah needs to be an indoor cat and to have high quality Food.
